Dear Friends,
Writing this letter has taken months to put my emotions and gratitude into words. Nothing could have prepared me for the journey I have embarked on these past ten years. The people, the designs, the inspiration, and the memories have shaped me into who I am today - A passionate mom, who loves to have fun, who loves a reason to dress up, and who loves to create, but I find myself now a passionate mom who loves to have fun with my family, who loves a reason to dress up with my family, and who loves to create with my family. The younger me who once loved the hustle and bustle of trade and trunk shows now desires the hustle and bustle of mom life, but it took me a while to admit it.
I have felt God stirring in my heart for quite some time, the desire to give my daughters the best of me, not the rest of me, and I am finally at a place of surrender.
After days, weeks, months, and years of praying, I have decided to close this chapter of Kelly Wynne, the handbag brand, and stop unintentionally hurrying through these precious years with my little ones. In order to give my family my best self in this season, I need to step away from the demands of running and growing my business.
After a decade of devotion, this decision has been difficult, but the hard stuff is the heart stuff, and it strengthens us for what is next.
I want to thank all of you, from the bottom of my heart, for supporting me in this venture. It has been an indescribable joy to design handbags that inspire women’s wardrobes these past ten years. Some of my most memorable moments are from heartfelt conversations with customers at trunk shows, speaking engagements, and the Kelly Wynne happy hours. I am reminiscing about them now with a smile on my face. I feel so much gratitude for my customers and the people I’ve worked with these past ten years. It’s truly been an incredible story I never could have written on my own.
It’s my hope that your Kelly Wynne accessory will continue to encourage you beyond the bag. That it will always remind you to choose confidence, lead a balcony life, and celebrate your wynnes big and small. I wish you the very best and will forever be grateful for this 10-year blessing.
Farewell for now,
Kelly Wynne Ferguson
